The year 2019 marks 10 years of EC International Group, which is proud to have made exemplary progress and achieved very positive results in short run prototyping.
With a turnover of 11 million euros and a team of 24 staff today, the company plans to continue establishing its international reputation. This year, it is treating itself to new premises in Haute-Savoie, the birthplace of this small family business that became a leader in its industry in just 10 years.
In 2009, Evelyne and Christian DUCHOUD decided to start their own company in France, specialising in plastic and metal part prototyping.
In 2013, the company turned the first corner in its expansion. Evelyne and Christian handed over the reins of their establishment to their son Jérémy, who became Chief Executive Officer of EC International Group.
The aim of the company, which had 3 employees and a turnover of 2 million euros at the time, was to develop its business internationally. So the group opened three commercial subsidiaries in France, Italy and then Spain.
2019 is a year of major change for the group, which plans to increase its turnover to €20M and its staff from 24 to 135 employees around the world. This is a significant challenge. Jérémy DUCHOUD comments enthusiastically: "We want to develop our presence on local markets where we are already well established, and expand worldwide in order to meet our clients' ever-growing need".
EC International Group's ambitions don't stop there. This year, the head office will be getting a new look, with a new site soon to be delivered in Rumilly, Haute-Savoie. With 500 m2 of offices, this modern-looking building will be able to accommodate the twenty or so staff members of the parent company in France in the best possible conditions.
This anniversary promises a bright future to an ambitious and motivated team!
